Abdul Ghani Qureshi Kabab Corner is one of the most celebrated and historic kebab establishments in the Jama Masjid area of Old Delhi. Founded by Haji Abdul Ghani Qureshi, the restaurant represents a culinary legacy spanning several generations. The origins date back to Abdul Ghani Qureshi's grandfather, popularly known as Chote Kebabi, who began selling kebabs near Jama Masjid decades ago.
In 1970, Abdul Ghani Qureshi established his own kebab corner on Urdu Bazaar Road. Over the years it gained immense popularity for its authentic recipes, traditional charcoal-grilled seekh kebabs, and distinctive spice blends. Later, the Qureshi Brothers expanded their legacy to Kashmir through a collaboration with Mr. Azad Ahmad Dar. Today the Qureshi brand stands proudly at Central Lal Chowk, near the iconic Clock Tower in Srinagar, with a second outlet in Soura, Buspora — and more locations coming soon, including a prestigious spot at Ghat No. 9 on the banks of Dal Lake.
